Tuffelrud: where the potatoes winter.

Under a farmhouse in Norway, an old seed keeper's root cellar holds a few hundred potatoes of many kinds through one long winter. This is a field guide to the folk who live there. Each one is a real potato variety, and every crook, scar and sprout has a reason you can look up.
